Raffaele Genovese (Syracuse, 4 June 1982) is an Italian pianist, composer and educator.
Graduated in Piano, Jazz Music and Music Education, he deals with jazz and contemporary music.
In 2009 he attended Umbria Jazz Clinics winning a scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
He played with renowned musicians like Stefano D’Anna, Marco Vaggi, Enzo Zirilli, Fabrizio Bosso, Ben van Gelder, Tony Arco, Carmelo Venuto, Emanuele Primavera, Marco Panascia, Marcello Pellitteri, Maurizio Giammarco, Giovanni Tommaso, Matteo Sabattini, Joyce Elaine Yuille.
He has performed with his bands in various festivals including Catania Jazz, Fano Jazz Network, Novara Jazz, Roccella Jazz Festival.
He has published Freeway (2011), Anamnesi (2013), Musaico (2016), The Tightrope Walker (2024).
